The Liturgy is the flagship of our worship. As early as the 2nd century we have the witness of St. Justin Martyr for the basic lines of the order of the Eucharistic celebration, the MASS. We invite you to participate with us in this most sacred worship.

Altar Servers: The ministry of Altar Server is open to young Catholic men and women, grades 4 - 12. Servers are needed to assist sacristan in preparing for Masses and to assist the priest during all weekend, holyday and holiday Masses. Servers are scheduled 1-2 times per month at Mass times of their choice. Training is required. Training dates are scheduled in the spring and fall of each year.
Funeral Servers: The ministry of Funeral Server is open to Catholic adult men and women. Funeral servers assist in preparing the altar before a funeral and assisting the priest during the funeral. Volunteers are called as needed. Training is required and is done individually.
Lectors: The ministry of Lector is open to confirmed, faith-filled, practicing Catholic men and women high school age and older. Lectors are scheduled to proclaim the word of God at all parish liturgies. Scheduling is approximately twice per month at the Mass times of their choice. Training is required and is done on an individual basis.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC): The EMHC ministry is open to confirmed, faith-filled, practicing men and women 16 years of age and older. Ministers are scheduled to act as Extraordinary Ministers of Communion, assisting the Ordinary Minister, the priest, with the distribution of Holy Communion and at all liturgies - weekends, holydays, holiday and weekdays. Training is required. Training dates are scheduled in the spring and fall of each year.
Sacristans: The ministry of Sacristan is open to Catholic adult men and women age 18 and older. Responsibilities include preparing all needed vestments and vessels for Mass and services. Sacristans are scheduled on a rotating schedule at all weekend, weekday, holiday, and holyday Masses, funerals and liturgical services. Virtus training and a background check are required. Training is provided on an individual basis.
Ushers: Ushers volunteer to help with the needs of the congregation, providing an environment of hospitality at all parish Mass and services. Ushers must be 18 years of age or older. Training is provided as needed.
Video Engineers: This ministry is open to men and women high school age and older. Volunteers video tape the 9:30am Sunday Mass for cable TV as well as special parish events throughout the year.
Environment Volunteers: Volunteers are needed year around to help maintain the plants and flowers both in and outside of the church. During the Advent / Christmas and Lent / Easter seasons, volunteers are needed to help create the special liturgical environments as well as to help with the take down after the season concludes.
Wedding Coordinators: This ministry is open to adult men and women. Volunteers assist the wedding couple at their rehearsal and at their wedding liturgy with the practical and physical aspects of their wedding and the use of our facilities. Training is provided.
