Vacation Bible Camp
JUNE 10 – 14, 2019   9 a.m. to Noon

This year our theme is Parade Around the Our Father. Come learn about our Catholic faith while having fun. We begin and end each day with prayer then the children will rotate through five stations – focusing on that day’s theme & Bible verse.

Themes:
Monday- God Listens (Prayer) Tuesday-God Provides (The Eucharist)
Wednesday – God Forgives (Forgiveness) Thursday-God Guides (Obedience)
Friday- Priests Serve God (Be a Missionary)

Camp Stations:
Prayer & Bible Story: Daily prayer and Bible teachings.

Campers Crafts: By the end of the week this room will have undergone an amazing transformation. Projects may be picked up Friday, June 14 after 11:00 a.m. Any projects not picked up June 14 will be disposed of.

Music:   Those of you who have attended in previous years know how much enthusiasm the children bring to their singing. Each family will receive one CD.

Games: Children will participate in active games outside – weather permitting.

Drama:   The children will have an opportunity to participate in skits about the daily theme.

Snack: Snacks will be provided daily for the children and volunteers.

All volunteers will need to complete and sign the Volunteer Registration Form, attend or attended a Virtus Session (adults only, if needed). We are looking for Leaders and Helpers in all areas.

The online Registration Period has ended. You can still register by printing the registration and bringing it in. The registration form is below or forms may be found by the School’s Math/Spanish classroom. Mail or drop off at the parish office by Friday, May 31st. Groups fill quickly so the earlier you register the better. We recommend registering before the deadline.   By volunteering to help with the 2019 Vacation Bible Camp, you agree:
  
  To attend VBC each day (June 10-14th) from 9am-Noon and to be on time.
  
  To wear modest clothing
  
  To use proper speech
  
  To share your faith and pray for those you minister to
  
  To pray for the entire VBC program
  
  To wear your volunteer ID badge each day
  
  To serve where you are placed
  
  You will not bring unregistered Campers and or Helpers to VBC
  
  Complete Essential 3, if needed (adults only) - Young Adults need 2 letters of recommendation
- Safe Environment Program
  Our Archdiocese requires all volunteers age 18 and older who serve in a position with children or vulnerable adults complete the required Essential 3 steps prior to volunteering:
  
  1. A background check
  2. VIRTUS “Protecting God’s Children” awareness session.
  3. Sign a Code of Conduct
  
  Visit the website www.virtus.org to pre-register for a class offered throughout the Archdiocese of St. Paul & Minneapolis.
