Faith/Works Ministry facilitates projects which offer opportunities for all parishioners to practice acts of charity. They sponsor bi-annual Food Drives for our local food shelves, quarterly sessions at Feed My Starving Children, an annual Military Outreach and the Christmas Giving Tree. They also support Breaking Free, St. Andrews Homeless Shelter, and Hannah’s Arms.
The Seven Sisters Prayer Ministry is a parish-based ministry established for women to live out their vocation of Spiritual Maternity specifically for the assigned priests of the parish.
St. Peter's Respect Life Committee was formed in 1986 to raise awareness and encourage action on the life issues of abortion, infanticide and euthanasia. Under the direction of the Archdiocesan Respect Life program, our goals are met through efforts involving spiritual, educational, public policy and service activities.
Young at Heart is a ministry targeting, but not limited to, people age 50 and better who get together to pray and enjoy each other's company. Events include games, guest speakers, short trips, sharing meals and fellowship
Consider spending a couple hours at the shelter to play games with kids, help with dinner, or be there overnight so a family without a home has a safe space to spend the night. Your help is most appreciated! Sign up to volunteer!

The Church of St. Peter has a long tradition of remembering those less fortunate during the holiday season. Our "Giving Trees" are unlit trees located at both church entrances--the "Spirit of Giving" makes them "Bright."
