  • Faith/Works is the social justice committee at the Church of St. Peter's. Our mission is to serve the parish as its primary resource and catalyst for works of charity and justice. We do this by facilitating projects which offer opportunities for all parishioners to practice acts of charity. We attempt to keep the poor and their needs uppermost in our efforts. We are always open to new ideas, needs and open to new members.

We sponsor bi-annual Food Drives for our local food shelves, quarterly sessions at Feed My Starving Children, an annual Military Outreach, and the Christmas Giving Tree. We also support Breaking Free, St. Andrews Homeless Shelter, and Hannah’s Arms.

  • It is God’s desire that we each experience inner joy and freedom, especially in those areas where we have been hurt in the past. Below you will find an explanation of the St. Peter Inner Healing Prayer Ministry which is intended to assist you through prayer in attaining new levels of inner healing through the grace of God.

What it is? The St. Peter Inner Healing Prayer Ministry is a ministry of healing prayer, using the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit.

The purpose of inner healing prayer is to bring individuals to a greater degree of wholeness through the healing of memories, especially in areas from the past which resulted in deprivation, trauma, or loss.  Such prayer may result in release from unhealthy choices or patterns of thought or behavior resulting from past hurts.

How it works: One of the priests or the Director of Pastoral Care at St. Peter’s will refer individuals to the inner healing prayer team. You will receive a call from a team member to set an appointment for prayer.

    For More Information, Please Contact:

Fr. Bodin, Pator, at (651) 982-2203

Fr. Gregory, Associate Pastor, at (651) 982-2204

Kathy Rubio, Director of Pastoral Care, at (651)982-2229

    Scheduling Appointments

Appointments can be made at a time convenient for you.  You will be notified where to meet the prayer team (usually the Adoration Chapel meeting room, located in the lower level of the Annex).

    • The team consists of three or four members who will pray with you for up to an hour (45 minutes is the norm).  If more prayer is needed, another appointment (or several) will be scheduled.  Only your first name will be released to the prayer team members.  The team members will hold your name and your prayer need in strict confidentiality.

    • The prayer team members are parishioners of St. Peter’s who have gone through training for this ministry.

    • During the prayer session you will be asked what you desire to be healed from. The prayer team members may ask some clarifying questions to help understand what to ask God for in prayer.

    • The content of your prayer session will never be written down, only "taken to the Lord" in prayer so as to maintain confidentiality for you.

    • Intercessors – Intercessors are parishioners who also have gone through training to assist you and the prayer team by asking God for grace and blessings through prayer and  sacrifices.  They will be notified to pray for inner healing for the recipients of inner healing through this beautiful ministry.  The Intercessors will not be given your name, the content of your inner healing request, nor will they be present when the prayer team gathers to pray with you.

  • "Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another." - Proverbs 27:17

  • St. Peter's Respect Life Committee was formed in 1986 to raise awareness and encourage action on the life issues of abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia. Under the direction of the Archdiocesan Respect Life program, our goals are met through efforts involving spiritual, educational, public policy, and service activities. The Respect Life Committee reflects the commitment of the Church to a comprehensive program of education, service, and witness modeled after the Bishop's Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities.

  • The Seven Sisters Prayer Ministry is a parish-based ministry established for women to live out their vocation of Spiritual Maternity specifically for the assigned priests of the parish.

All women of the parish are invited to join in this ministry. A different spiritual mother is assigned each day of the week to pray for the priest and his intentions. The prayer time is one hour on their given day in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament either in the tabernacle or the Adoration Chapel. Fourteen spiritual mothers are needed for the ministry: Seven for our pastor, and seven for our parochial vicar. There is no monetary cost. Volunteer subs are also needed.

Please contact either Kathy Rubio, the Pastoral Care Director at (651) 982-2229 or Angela Muttonen (651) 982-1626 for more information and to register for this ministry.

  • Consider spending a couple hours at the shelter to play games with kids, help with dinner, or be there overnight so a family without a home has a safe space to spend the night. Your help is most appreciated! Sign up to volunteer! Learn more.
